Avionics Technician / Wire Harness Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW
Avionics Technician / Wire Harness Technician will work independently in completing low volume wire harness assemblies. The position is administered by a Lead Avionic/ Electrical Engineer. We are looking for Avionic Techs with a willingness to learn and be fully trained in specialized wire harness assemblies.

A background and/or interest in Electronic Assemblies is preferred. Work experience in the field is not necessary, but preferred. College internship experience is also acceptable.

Work on assemblies in the Space, Aerospace, EV industries. We are looking for individuals who are interested in broadening and building their technical abilities. Our goal is to build our Avionics department with apt technicians.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & TASKS

No Experience Necessary - Experience in working on any one or more of the following is valued:

Proficient in electrical drawings & schematics, engineering orders, assembly routes, work orders, travelers, BOMs, and quality directives. Create cable and harness assemblies from schematics, drawings, cut lists. Can create neat and efficient cable routing. Manages the creation of wire harnesses, following work instructions.
Effective using hand, electric and pneumatic tools typical of electrical assembly.
Calibrate crimping machines, wire cutting and stripping tools.
Safety awareness for electrical components and warehouse procedures.
Candidate must be a self-starter, good critical thinking skills, strong communication skills, the ability to resolve issues and can multitask.

Monday - Friday. 7 AM to 3:30 PM, plus Overtime Opportunity.

Pay rate dependent on experience.
