Ardurra is seeking an experienced Aviation Electrical Designer to join our team!
This role is open to candidate's who can report to one of the following office locations:
- Houston, TX
- Dallas, TX
- Meridian, ID
- Raleigh, NC
Primary Function:
Under general supervision from Aviation Electrical Group Manager, will coordinate with Regional Lead CAD Technician, Electrical Engineers and Engineering Interns. Will assist in the design development and production of plan documents.
Primary Duties
- Assist in the design development for the electrical portions of aviation projects.
- May visit site to determine dimensions and inventory of existing equipment.
- Assist in the development of conduit routing for site plans and enlarged plans.
- Assist in the develop of quantities for opinion of probable construction costs for Aviation Electrical projects.
- Coordinate with other engineering staff including P.E.’s, I.T.s and designers.
- Coordinate with project manager and designers from other disciplines.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Standards for the Electrical Group.
- Other duties supportibr of Electrical Group as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ideally 10+ years of Aviation Electrical experience
- Ideally 2+ years of CAD experience
- Working knowledge of TEAMS, Outlook, BlueBeam, and Excel
- Ability to become proficient with CAD within 12 months supported by in-house and external professional training.
