The ideal candidate should have practical experience in tire services, oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance. As an Automotive Tire and Lube Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing tire installations and repairs, oil changes, and providing general vehicle maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tire installations, repairs, rotations, and balancing.
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as replacing air filters and light bulbs.
- Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and report findings to service advisors.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and service quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to ensure that vehicles are serviced correctly.
- Keep accurate records of services performed on vehicles.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tire and Lube Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of Automotive Tire services, oil change procedures, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to operate various types of service equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive services is a plus.
- A valid driver's license.
Additional Information:
This role is based in Burien, WA and may require working hours that include weekends and holidays, depending on business needs.
