Automotive Technician Auto Mechanic

Please do not apply if you have never physically worked on vehicles repairing and servicing them. You will be wasting your time and ours. This position is for an EXPERIENCED Automotive Technician. We are a very busy to train anyone and we do not have time to correct mistakes or watch over inexperienced employees. Our clients expect their vehicles to come back to them safe and sound so we only want employees we can stand behind their work to work for us.

At Apex Auto and Diesel Repair is a very busy shop looking for an experienced mechanic/technician to join our team, especially one that is highly motivated and eager to write their own paycheck. We diagnose, repair and service all makes and models of cars and trucks. We also provide service and repairs for diesel vehicles as well as heavy duty trucks for our fleet accounts.

This position earns a competitive salary depending on experience, ability and quality of work produced. Top Pay available for top producers. Flat rate and hourly rates available. Extremely busy shop. Career path available for an experienced technician who can perform general vehicle repair and maintenance functions with little supervision required. Ideal candidates will have the ability to keep up in a busy environment and be capable of using new, top of the line diagnostic scan tools and equipment. ASE Certifications are preferred but not required. Must have your own tools.

We are looking to hire a full-time, Automotive Service Technician with at least THREE YEAR'S experience that can perform a wide range of automotive maintenance and repair services on vehicles with emphasis on drivability & diagnostic repairs. We prefer at least 3 years’ experience because we are a very busy shop that requires our technicians to be able to work independently with very little supervision required, so experience is imperative. If you can produce quality work in an efficient manner, you can write your own check with the amount of work we have lined up. We have plenty of work if you are willing and able to turn the hours you will have unlimited ability to do so. The opportunities to make a good living are endless. We do payroll weekly. The work week is Wednesday through Thursday to be paid every Friday. We will gladly compensate a deserving employee and will give raises based on performance on a regular basis.

This is a full time position Monday thru Friday and no weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Repair automobiles, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must have own tools
