Professional Automotive Sales & Leasing Consultant
Job Responsibilities:
- Automotive Sales & Leasing Consultants interview customers to assess their needs and match them with in-stock vehicle options
- Sales & Leasing Consultants commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of sales skills, vehicles and technology; stay well-read and continue to learn about new vehicles and their features
- Sales & Leasing Consultants test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features
- Present price and payment quotes and explain financing/leasing options for New and Used vehicles
- Prospecting activities like making outbound phone calls, sending emails, and visiting local businesses with business cards and a presentation
- Follow up with previous visitors, and prospective customers and return email / voicemail daily
- Support on-line customers by setting appointments
- Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads
Job Requirements:
- The ideal candidate must have an extraordinary work ethic and a strong desire to succeed.
- Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
- Steady work history and the commitment to starting/continuing a new career
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
- Basic computer, email and internet proficiency
- Excellent appearance, above average verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through
- Must be able to handle rejection, sometimes several times per week when customers decide not to purchase from you, or to postpone a sale, without losing drive and intensity
- Weekend availability is needed as well as frequent evening hours
- Valid U.S. Driver's license
- MUST pass a drug screen
