Description:
The Warehouse/ Specialty Coatings Paint Mixer will mix and blend paint according to specified formulas and should be very organized, efficient, and experienced in fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to incoming product and order processing.

Essential Duties
- Abide by all company safety regulations
- Process purchase order by preparing, labeling and shipping product
- Prepare paint orders, including mixing, utilizing standard and/or custom formulas
- Perform mixing and/or shading with utmost care to ensure minimum mis-tints.
- Maintain Color Room records including non-conformance report, tint usage, can usage, mis-tints, etc. and perform necessary inventory transfers
- Staging customer orders for shipment
- Arrange and monitor stock, inventory levels for distribution
- Anticipate delivery requirements and effectively coordinate orders
- Coordinate schedules and delivery routes to ensure accuracy/timely delivery of orders.
- Facilitate requests from stores and outside sales personnel
- Monitor and track customer communications, order requests, and invoices.
- Process invoices utilizing various payment methods, transactions, and other associated documents
- Receive, unload and stock incoming inventory items appropriately
- Must be licensed to operate vehicle in accordance with state and federal law
- Must have acceptable driving record from DMV/MTO
Additional Duties
- Organizing stock and maintaining inventory
- Maintaining equipment and warehouse space
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

Requirements and skills
- Ability to accurately mix formulated colors
- Proven warehouse experience
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Team player with organizational skills
- Ability to lift or move heavy product

- Attend various manufacturer training seminars and/or training schools. Seminars may be conducted after normal business hours. Training schools may require overnight travel up to five (5) days
Physical Requirements
Physical abilities will include walking and standing on concrete/hard surfaces for a minimum of 2.5 hours to 8 hours at a time, ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds regularly and 75-100 pounds occasionally, able to reach, twist, bend, kneel, climb a ladder while carrying product. Ability to perceive color differences and wear safety equipment as required. Must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors may require the ability to drive a forklift and/or order picker.
Candidates must submit to a drug screen and meet acceptable Motor Vehicle Report requirements upon the hiring process.
