Prefer candidates with 3+ years of experience. Current ASE or equivalent certifications increase value.
As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic at Midas Automotive Service, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- All Maintenance and Repair work such as oil changes, tire rotations, suspension repairs, wheel alignments, brake repairs, exhaust repairs, engine diagnostic and repairs etc.
- Ability to efficiently and accurately diagnose engine/drivability faults, and provide needed repairs.
- Maintain a good and positive attitude and the team concept at all time.
- To act in a professional manner suitable as to represent a quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting an attitude of honesty, integrity, and respectfulness.
- Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by management.
- Examine vehicle and discuss with service writer/service manager the nature and extent of any damage or malfunction. Provide recommendations for repair/list of all items needing attention, whether maintenance, safety or other.
- Insure all under-car, under-hood and preventive maintenance inspections and reports are complete and accurate.
- This person must have own tools needed to perform in this role and a valid driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $600.00 - $1,200.00 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Weekends as needed

License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- ASE or Equivalent (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Victoria, TX 77904: Relocate before starting work (Required)
