We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Automotive Mechanic - Experienced currently based in our Baldwin Park, CA warehouse.
The Automotive Mechanic - Experienced is responsible for diagnosing and performing intermediate vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned; and in accordance with factory specifications and standards
General Responsibilities
• Ability to report to work at the prescribed time for each scheduled shift and to fulfil the job requirements for the duration of the shift or until relieved of all duties by a direct supervisor.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
• Ability to understand and follow directions from a supervisor.
• Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
• Ability to interact cordially and productively with co-workers to accomplish common tasks.
• Ability to receive constructive criticism in a professional manner.
• Ability to cope with stressful circumstances.
• Perform all work-related tasks as needed or assigned by a direct supervisor.
• Compliance with corporate privacy policies and practices to ensure that all company information and data is kept confidential unless specifically authorized for release.
• Ability to complete all Lube and Entry level repair requirements.
• Remove and replace internal engine components, I.E. water pump, timing chain, diagnose engine drivability issues with scanner with minimal supervision, diagnose suspension issues with minimal supervision, diagnose electrical issues with minimum supervision, can repair a problem using a wiring diagram
Work Schedule + Benefits
• Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
• The hours for this position are: 7:00AM -3:30PM, Monday-Friday
• Overtime as needed

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Trade school or Automotive
• A minimum of 3-6 years of related automotive repair required
• Intermediate understanding of technical Competencies
• Use computer diagnostic equipment, manual dexterity and physical Stamina, and ability to manage multiple tasks in fast paced environment,
• Valid Class A driver's license (required)
• Ability to lift 51-100 lbs. occasionally and kneel frequently
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management
