The ideal candidate for the License and Title Clerk position will have strong organizational and communication skills and understand the importance of detail.
The following knowledge is helpful:
Experience in used car titles, out-of-state titles, wholesale titles, lien releases, power of attorneys, ST-556 amendments, tax, and Title deadlines, out-of-state purchasers, county and state taxes, and CVR.
Maintaining License and Title schedules and CVR inventory is also a plus.
A "can do" attitude and willingness to adapt to different job roles assigned as needed will be your key to success in the License and Title Clerk position.
Automotive License and Title Clerk daily duties would be:
- Process New and Used in state title and tax in CVR.
- Process Out-of-State title and tax.
- Receive Titles and keep an accurate inventory.
- Post previous days CVR bundles.
- Stock in New and Used inventory.
- Weekly schedule cleaning.
- Follow up on missing titles.
- Handle customer inquiries.
- Manage forms and plate inventory.
