Job Summary:
We need an experienced Automotive Journeyman Technician trained in G.M. Electric Vehicles to join our team at Napleton Auto Group's National Dealership in Chicago, Illinois. As a Journeyman Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Electric Vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $44 to $50 per hour, paid weekly plus sign on bonus to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues with G.M. Electric Vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and resources to accurately identify and troubleshoot problems
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs and maintenance services performed
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers
- Stay up-to-date on Electric Vehicle technology and training
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a G.M. Electric Vehicle training program
- At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- ASE certifications are preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
