Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Service Manager/Dispatcher. The Assistant Service Manager is responsible for overseeing service departments and is responsible for controlling costs, building clientele, maintaining employee relations, setting up and obtaining sales and profit objectives, and maintaining service records.

- Honda experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reynolds's experience is preferred but not mandatory.

- Must be able to manage and train all service staff
- Strong computer and internet skills, including experience/skills with a CRM system
- Must have a good grasp of internet processes and understand how to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
- Must be able to pass a license/motor vehicle record check
- Honda experience is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates
- Reynolds experience is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dealership management is preferred, but not mandatory for qualified candidates
Dispatcher Duties
- Dispatch work to technicians accordingly based on promise time and skill level
- Make sure work is being performed in a timely matter
- Keep track of daily shop flow and hold overs
- Communicate with Advisors and Technicians regarding work throughout the shop
- Keep track of Technician times and flag sheets daily
- Run Technician time reports to ensure there is no unapplied time
- Keep track of PTO (Vacation, Sick, etc…)
- Manage Used Car duties (Write up, Upsell, Close out, Update Used Car Tracking Sheet)
- Keep track and manage special tools and shop supplies
- Make sure all shop equipment is up to date and working properly
- Be familiar with warranty specifications and guidelines
- Be familiar with NYSI guidelines
- Open/Close the Service Department/Building throughout the week
- Help monitor and maintain the daily operation of the Service Department/Building
- Provide assistance to Service Manager when needed
Candidates must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and DMV check.
