Position Overview: We are looking for an aggressive and dynamic Assistant Vehicle Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing a team of 7-14 retail and internet salespeople. The ideal candidate will have prior automotive experience, a proven track record of success, and a desire for career advancement within our organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, a selfless attitude, and unwavering dependability.

Responsibilities
- Previous Dealership experience required
- Finance Dealership experience preferred
- Recruit, hire, train, and oversee a team of 7-14 automotive salespeople
- Set sales goals, track progress, and lead the team to achieve and exceed those quotas
- Coach salespeople on best practices for closing more vehicle deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performance
- Forecast sales for upcoming months and quarters
- Step in to answer customer questions and issues when required
- Coordinate and lead all regular sales meetings with the sales staff
- Develop and manage a CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales
- Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers
- Compile regular reports for dealership management to review
- Assist in the evaluation trades
Qualifications
- Prior automotive sales experience is required
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- References from previous employers or clients demonstrating success in a similar role
