Automation Technician - Second & Third Shift

This position is located in Youngsville, North Carolina(We will pay for your relocation!)

We are actively seeking 2 dynamic experienced Automation Technicians who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our automated systems. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated processes, improving efficiency, and minimizing downtime. You will have the choice between two shifts: SECOND SHIFT - 3:00pm - 11:30pm or THIRD SHIFT - 11:00pm - 7:30am

About you:

Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the 2nd and 3rd Shift Automation Technician is responsible for Automation and Electrical for Production Equipment and Machinery. This position also requires Mechanical Experience and support to all Maintenance members and Manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshooting Electrical, PLC and other Industrial Automation in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Design, install, Program and commission small size Automation control systems. Support required for larger Automation Projects.
• Train and support Maintenance team members on an ongoing bases on the understanding of Automation and troubleshooting.
• PM of all Electrical and Automation Equipment.
• Hands on support to Maintenance Technicians with troubleshooting Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Equipment.
• Maintaining all PLC Program files and documentation.
• Working on Allen Bradley PLCs specifically

QUALIFICATIONS:

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Forklift driving capabilities.
• Excellent trouble-shooting and math skills.
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions, blueprints, schematics and drawings, and procedure manuals.
• Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal) and solid leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
• Proven ability to implement change.
• Computer proficiency with email and with Microsoft office suite.
• Basic knowledge of key OSHA regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Lifting capabilities of up to 50 lbs.
