Job Description

Step into the spotlight as an Automation Technician and be the maestro of seamless operations in our clients automated assembly wonderland! If you're ready to infuse your skills with a touch of automation magic, then we've got just the stage for you.
As an Automation Technician, you're the conductor of their symphony of automated assembly cells, post-molding operations, and insert molding cells. Your job is all about setting the stage, firing up the engines, and keeping the show running smoothly. From setting up to changeovers, quality inspections to basic maintenance, you'll be front and center, making sure every note is pitch perfect.
Now, let's dive into your spectacular role. You'll wield your expertise to kickstart molds and give the green light for production runs, ensuring they dance to the rhythm of our top-notch quality standards. Troubleshooting and getting to the root of things are your superpowers, ensuring that every product that takes its bow is nothing short of exceptional. But that's not all you'll also be the mastermind behind pad printing cells, from ink mixing to maintenance, and swapping out pads, nests, and clichs like a true magician. Precision is your forte as you meticulously inspect and measure the production output to match the exact beat of customer specifications.
Maintenance is your middle name. You'll keep the gears turning with routine repairs on our automation equipment, all while keeping an eagle eye on spare parts and supplies for smooth sailing. The art of teaching robots their moves and keeping them in tip-top shape is also in your repertoire. And when it comes to addressing mold, machine, or auxiliary equipment hiccups, you're the one pulling the strings.
Your stage is shared with a host of talented collaborators the molding manager, team leaders, quality technicians, engineering pros, and your fellow peers. Your harmonious teamwork extends to machine maintenance and testing personnel as you tackle challenges and refine processes. But remember, you're the star with the outlined qualifications: a technical degree or equivalent experience, a sprinkle of mechanical or electrical wizardry, safety smarts, a shining track record, and a pinch of math proficiency.
Precision is your key, and you've got organizational prowess that's second to none. Your analytical mind and mathematical flair keep everything on point, while your social prowess makes you the team's favorite player. And when it comes to safety, you're the superhero. Overtime and weekends? You're ready to hit those high notes. We're all ears for your contributions to our on-call rotation, too. And yes, those 60 lbs. lifts? You handle them with grace and strength, making every move look effortless.
So, if you're ready to orchestrate brilliance, embrace challenges, and deliver performances that leave a lasting impact, then the spotlight is yours. Join us as an Automation Technician and let's create automation marvels that will leave everyone applauding!
This position is at our clients Vermont manufacturing facility.

Competitive compensation based on experience.
