Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Permanent Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong understanding of electrical engineering, mechatronics, and automatic control systems and are excited about applying their skills to create innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes to complete precise tasks.
2. Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
3. Design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically test functionality.
4. Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the functionality and architecture of our products.
5. Develop specifications and performance requirements for automation equipment.
6. Install, maintain, and repair automation equipment and systems.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems align with overall company goals.
8. Troubleshoot issues with hardware and software as they arise.
9. Prepare accurate reports and documentation for management and cross-functional teams.
10. Regularly update skills and knowledge in line with industry advancements.
11. Lead and manage automation projects from conception to completion.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of PLC, CNC Equipment, and Automatic Control Systems.
4. Proven experience in managing and executing automation projects.
5. In-depth knowledge of different automation techniques and technologies.
6. Proficient in programming languages and automation software.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
10. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
11. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and advancements.
12. Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.
