Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, evaluate, and implement improvements to existing automation in mechanical assembly, machining, and inspection processes.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs for equipment.
- Manage equipment purchase and installation.
- Prepare manufacturing and electrical documentation.
- Improving legacy equipment and figuring out how to upgrade the equipment and make it more efficient
- Work closely with hardware and software development teams to develop and integrate tests into product development cycle
- Analyze test data and provide feedback to engineering teams on areas of improvement
- Write technical documentation and provide training and support to other team members
- Use MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, LTSpice or similar to validate Electronics Circuits and support troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in developing automated equipment in manufacturing industries
- 2+ years experience testing electrical or mechanical products
- Experience writing software with (Python, Labview, C/C++, or any other relevant language)
- Visual Basic is a plus
- Experience working with Hydraulics, Electronics, and Valves
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with source control tools and Aerospace processes a plus
- Strong knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape and LTSpice or similar Simulation Tools is a plus
