Salary Range: $100k-$113k
Clearance: Ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance. US Citizenship is required for clearance (i.e., no dual citizenships).
KeyLogic is seeking an Automation Engineer to support a major national laboratory. In this position you will work with a group which provides capabilities and in-depth support for scientific and engineering applications. The team builds and maintains servers, and provides subject matter expert support. You may work autonomously or as a team member supporting various projects and teams within the environment
Required Skills:
- Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience
- In lieu of an Associate's degree an additional 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Citizenship is required per Contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef. Experience with 1 tool is required, all three is preferred.
- Experience with administration of Linux physical and virtual servers, including upgrades, patching and security compliance requirements.
- Experience in Linux (OS), including file management, scripting, editing, and security.
- Experience with a variety of programming languages, software, or tools to develop regular or ad-hoc queries from large data-sets.
- Familiar with network communication protocols, and other related protocol.
- Ability to implement solutions integrating Rest application program interface (API) based web services.
Desired skills:
- Classified support experience STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guidance) familiarity or experience.
