Job Summary
Responsible for operating a variety of equipment and systems used in controlling automatic train movements, power distribution and system safety functions. Monitors and evaluates automatic train system performance and responds to service interruptions and other emergency conditions. Interfaces with and coordinates patron activities, security and maintenance procedures.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be willing to work any shift in a 24-hour seven-day operation;
Must maintain certification/re-certification of Detroit People Mover task requirements;
Must pass complete physical examination.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiar with DOS System
Experience monitoring CCTV's
Experience monitoring SCADA
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver's license; maintain certification/re-certification of DPM task requirements;
Must pass complete physical examination and drug screen.
