Job Responsibilities
Test Automation Development:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using .NET-based testing frameworks.
- Write reusable and maintainable code for automated tests.
Test Planning and Execution:
- Define test strategies, plans, and scenarios in collaboration with team members.
- Execute automated tests within Azure DevOps pipelines and report results.
CI/CD Integration:
- Configure and manage automated test suites within Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot test-related issues.
Performance and Security Testing:
- Conduct performance and security tests to identify vulnerabilities and optimize application performance.
Documentation and Improvement:
- Document test automation frameworks and processes for reference.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and standards.
Automation Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET-based automated testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest).
- Strong programming skills in .NET languages (C# or VB.NET) for test automation.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline configuration.
Testing Expertise:
- Experience in designing and executing test plans for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Ability to analyze test results and identify defects efficiently.
Continuous Learning:
- Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements in an Agile environment.
Problem-solving and Communication:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Clear documentation skills for test scenarios and findings.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in software testing or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium) are advantageous.
