Job Description:
This position is in Intel's Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) organization which is responsible for the development and deployment of automation systems, including Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) for Intel's Fabs worldwide.
The AMHS intern will have responsibilities of various small size projects as well as tasks to support the functional area. These are engineering projects that span data gathering and analysis, technical specification writing, testing and validation, CAD drawing review and system map creation, equipment continuous improvement projects (hardware and software), process improvement, and managing implementation and training document creation.
The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:

This internship will take place in Summer 2024.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must be actively pursuing a MS degree or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ months of experience and/or knowledge in the following:
- Robotic electromechanical and control systems and understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience/or knowledge in the following:
- Working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Data Analysis, Query tools such as SQL, JMP, Python, or AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products, PowerPoint, Word, Project, other.
- Fab related experience with background in Material Handling Systems.
