We are currently looking for an Autocad Drafter for full time work in Wooster. This is for a cabinet making company.
Job Overview: An AutoCAD Drafter is a professional responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. They work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to produce accurate and detailed drawings that serve as a foundation for construction, manufacturing, or other projects.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and Design:
- Use AutoCAD software to create 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and plans.
- Translate conceptual designs, sketches, and specifications into detailed and precise technical drawings.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Participate in meetings to discuss design concepts, modifications, and project progress.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and applicable regulations.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
Documentation:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including drawing files and revisions.
- Prepare drawing lists, schedules, and other project documentation as required.
