Auto Body Estimator Job Description

Ideal Auto Group is currently searching for an Auto body Estimator to add to the team at our Harrisburg, PA location. The right candidate will have a working knowledge of popular vehicle models, a commitment to accuracy, and a methodical working style. The Estimators will be responsible for researching sequential repair processes and working within fixed budgets to deliver accurate estimates.

Our Auto Body Estimators work as part of our larger vehicle care team. It’s important that you’re able to work well with others and capable of demonstrating professionalism in the workplace. Auto Body Estimator Responsibilities:

• Promptly greet customers and perform vehicle inspections.
• Meet deadlines for the body shop and for insurance company needs.
• Work in a team and minimize needs for supplements and minimize cycle time.
• Keep consistent communication between insurance companies and customers
• Input all necessary information into company system for every vehicle
• Stay up to date and follow instructions of management and expectations of insurance companies/any guidelines.
• Stay up to date with the statuses of all vehicles that are on-premises and related parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Auto Body Estimator Requirements:

• Experience with CCC One Estimating and Repair Workflow software preferred
• Customer Service Experience
• Extensive understanding of process of ordering/managing vehicle part orders
• I-Car Certification a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $42.00 per hour

• Harrisburg, PA 17110: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Auto estimating: 1 year (Required)
• Automotive service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
