QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed Clinical Psychologist or license- eligible in the state of California. Must have a minimum of 2 years providing direct individual and group psychotherapy to persons on the autism spectrum ranging from toddlers to adults. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience performing diagnostic evaluations utilizing the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale (ADOS)- all modules. Familiarity or interest in the neurodivergent LGBTQ+ population preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individual psychotherapy to children and adults on the autism spectrum and LGBTQ+ clients
- Provide group psychotherapy to children and adults on the autism spectrum and LGBTQ+ clients
- Provide assessments and program development for the PLAN Center, with a primary focus on diagnostics of neurodivergent LGBTQ+ referrals
- Maintain client information in a confidential manner.
- Maintain client charts in a responsible manner. Ensure documentation requirements are met for supervisees in a timely and accurate manner.
- Comply with the Agency guidelines, policies and procedures
- Comply with applicable professional licensing or certification requirements and ethical standards
- Arrange work schedule or required hours to the benefit of the Agency and clients with the approval of the program’s Director of Training
- May supervise interns and/or trainees in individual and/or group supervision in The Help Group’s doctoral, post-doctoral and/or practicum training programs in the following direct service experiences psychodiagnostic and/or diagnostic testing.
Salary Range:$66,415 To $105,000
