Department Description:
IAD is responsible for providing high-quality, independent, professional audit coverage of ISO New England's business and Information Technology (IT) processes including the evaluation of the system and general internal controls, reviewing governance and risk management processes, performing company-wide risk assessments, developing the annual audit work plan, checking ISO compliance with governing agreements and regulations, supporting external audits/reviews and examining quality and integrity processes.
What will you be working on:
The internship is to assist IAD with the performance of internal audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases in IT/Cybersecurity support areas such as security administration, controls, change/configuration management, and technical areas that include networks, operating systems, web platforms, database management systems and application systems, fieldwork on system operations audits, as well as administrative tasks for post audit activities (corrective action follow-up). The position reports to the Senior Manager, IT

To be eligible for the internship candidate must have completed at least the first year of college and be currently enrolled in a four year or graduate-level academic program. Candidates must have the authority to work in the US on a permanent basis, without requiring sponsorship.

- Experience in performing detailed technical tasks in an Information Technology/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, audit or administrative capacity.
- Minimum grade point average accepted is 3.2
- Proficient formal writing skills/abilities.
