Audio/Video Rental House Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for the extensive supervision, enhancement of efficiency, arrangement, and direction of the team handling the day-to-day wareHouse Operations. This role also encompasses the management of facility operations, logistics, and vehicle upkeep. The job involves direct leadership of the local operations team, general administrative tasks, as well as client and vendor interactions. Additional responsibilities include managing daily logistics, organizing the warehouse, and fostering staff growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the operations team, while working closely with the shop technicians, and warehouse associates, to guide in the prioritization of tasks and to assist when needed.
• Ensure the fulfillment of orders meets company standards.
• Manage local and long-distance logistics ensuring the efficient and timely scheduling of all deliveries and pickups.
• Establish and maintain relationships with primary logistic, facility, and repair vendors.
• Conducting year-end reviews for the operations team
• Set a positive example for the operations team of personal conduct, effort, and professionalism fostering a healthy team environment, maintaining a high level of quality, attention to detail, and efficiency, and providing developmental feedback.
• Oversee the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition of the warehouse, including tools and facilities.
• Responsible for creating, and implementing, Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensure drivers and vehicles meet and follow all D.O.T. regulations.

Qualifications:

• Must have 3-5 years in an Operations Manager role or similar position in audio/visual/broadcast rentals.
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience and knowledge of audio/visual equipment
• Management experience of 8-10 people.
• Proficient with the use of MS Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Scheduling flexibility to work overtime, weekends, On-Call, and occasional holidays.
• Possesses outstanding organizational skills, demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, exhibits resourcefulness, meets deadlines consistently, works independently, and proactively addresses potential issues.
• Understanding of basic financial targets, cost, and labor management
• Experience in forklift operation and safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

• Some travel may be required.
• Requires walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day and climbing stairs/ladders.
• Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, and lifting of up to 50 pounds while observing proper lifting techniques are required.

• Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Additional hours may be required for special projects
