A healthcare job without the bodily fluids! Our busy office is searching for a FULL-TIME Audiology Assistant. We will trainon all necessary Audiology Assistant skills. A medical background is not necessary. But, a qualified applicant already has great customer service and organizational skills and good tech skills. A qualified applicant learns easily. This role also includes assisting at the front desk as needed.

This job works 4-10 hours shifts/week. Shift is 7:30am-6pm.

Do you have?

Good computer skills—willing to be trained on our software(CounselEar) and multiple brands of hearing aid apps?
Ability to enjoy an “Aud” sense of humor and have fun while working hard?
Bonus skill: Spanish speaking.
The Audiology Assistant’s duties include:
Preparing the patient for the visit and supporting the audiologist.
Maintaining hearing aid stock.
Cleaning and repairing hearing aids /serving walk-ins/scheduling follow-up appointments,
Teaching patients hearing aid use and hearing aid apps/technologies.
Training --- (all tuition/traveling for class expenses will be paid for by the employer).
Audiology Assistant Competency--normally completed within 6-9 months of hire date. Assistant will be independent in prepping patient for appointment and assisting provider as needed. When deemed competent, $.50/hour raise
In addition to the in-office training:
CAOCH certification and competency-- For more information see https://www.caohc.org/ the class is typically completed within 4-6 months of hire date, (scheduling will be adapted as needed due to class availability.) After passing the class, the employee will then competently complete 30 in-office CAOCH tests. After accomplishing this-- $.50/hour raise
Because of the education investment we are making, we require a two-year commitment of employment.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
