MEC Technologies, Inc. is looking for an experienced Audio Visual Field Engineer!
Pay will be based on experience
· Required Trainings/Certifications:
- OSHA 10
- CTS
- Extron Certification
- Biamp Tesira Certification
Duties & Responsibilities:
· ·Works closely with the Project Management and Installation Team to ensure that all audiovisual components are installed, configured, and tested properly.
· Ability to safely install equipment including but not limited to projectors, displays, speakers, projection screens, cameras, microphones, equipment racks.
· Familiarity with pulling and terminating low-voltage cabling
· Proficiency with audiovisual terminations
· Ability to use basic hand and power tools
· Ability to read and understand blueprints and line drawings
· Daily updating of Audiovisual documents for creation of post project as-builts
· Excellent communication & organizational skills with the desire to grow in the commercial AV industry
· Other duties as assigned
Experience:
·· 2+ Years of audiovisual or industry related experience preferred
· Ability to lift objects up to 60lbs.
· Ability to work off a ladder or staging
· Valid Driver’s license
· Reliable Transportation
· Ability to work overtime as necessary
· Provide own basic power/hand tools
· Familiar with Crestron products & videoconferencing
· Preferred Trainings/Certifications:
- Extron Plus
- Crestron
