Audio / Video & DJ Sales Associate

EMI Audio is a family owned business that has been operating for over 50 years. Our business provides Install, Retail Sales, Rental and Repair services for Audio, Video and Lighting equipment. We excel at providing fantastic service to customers with varying levels of Audio and Video Knowledge. We are looking for a full or part time Salesperson who is charismatic, computer savvy and hard working to add to our sales team. Our team members need to be able to work MON-FRI and Saturdays on a rotation. Operating hours are 9:00AM-5:00PM and we have opportunities for late-night and weekend production work at a premium rate. As a Small Business EMI Audio offers flexibility and on-the-job training, as well as providing a fun work environment with opportunities for growth.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

Help customers in our showroom and recommend pro Audio, Video, Lighting & DJ products.

Prepping, testing and organizing gear for customer pickups in warehouse area.

Maintain a clean & organized work environment.

Saturday rotation with opportunities to assist production department with large concerts / events.

Job Requirements:

Positive attitude and ability to work under deadlines.

Proficient with phone and email etiquette.

Driver’s License with clean record.

Able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly.

Education and Experience:

Previous experience with live audio, lighting and video preferred but not required.

On the job training provided.

* Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred

Pay $16 or more based on experience and availability.
