Job Description
Imagine Audio Video is currently seeking to hire an Audio Video Sales team member to add to our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales plan to drive company revenue and find and secure new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities
- Work with management to establish quotas and goals for the sales cycle
- Keep sales pipeline documentation and CRM up to date and provide status updates to management
- Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
- Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
- Create residential audio/video and home automation proposals for luxury homes
- Create audio/video and commercial automation proposals for businesses
- Create pre-wire proposal quotes from construction drawings
- Create change order proposals as needed for ongoing projects
- Meet technicians on site the first day of the project for kickoff meetings and provide direction on projects
- Present proposals to clients and work to refine it until it meets their needs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
2+ years of experience in technical sales or similar experience is required.
Commute to the office at least two days per week.
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and self-directed.
Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast paced, changing work environment.
Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, interpersonal skills.
Comfortable interacting with executives, customers, engineers, management, and field techs.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with an ability to effectively communicate with employees and clients at all levels.
Must be a “people person”.
Position Requirements
Previous experience in technology sales
Experience working in new home construction
Comfortable interacting with clients through multiple channels – text, email, and over the phone
Reliable transportation
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Proficient in using Office 365 applications – Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience selling Control4 and/or Crestron systems
Desired Experience
Experience in B2B sales
5+ years of experience as a field Audio Video technician
Experience working with Portal proposal software
Experience working with ProjX360 management software
Experience selling motorized shades
Experience selling distributed and accent lighting
Experience selling CCTV / security / access control systems
