Job Description
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot residential audio/video systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot commercial audio/video systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot control systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot security systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot networks (wired/wireless)
- Assist with pulling low voltage cabling (pre-wire)
- Terminate low voltage cabling (trimout)
- Service and system maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years of experience working as an Audio Video installer/technician or similar role.
2+ years of experience working with automation systems (Crestron & Control 4).
Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.
Must be a team player that is willing to help others if needed.
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and self-directed.
Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast paced, changing work environment.
Comfortable interacting with customers, engineers, sales, and other technicians via both voice and text.
Proficient in using Office 365 applications – Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with an ability to effectively communicate with employees and clients at all levels.
Position Requirements
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Must have reliable transportation to work and a clean driving record.
