SBH Health System a 400 + bed Acute Care Hospital and Trauma Center in the Bronx, New York and academic health System affiliated with the CUNY School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine supporting 2 FQHC primary care centers / 2 faculty practice sites and an On-campus Ambulatory Care Center seeks a full-time PCP Hospitalistto join our dynamic and growing practice. Candidates will be committed to delivering high quality care to an underserved population, mentoring residents and medical students, leading quality improvement initiatives and conducting research.
The Division of General Medicine at SBH Health System is looking for full time, highly motivated BE/BC internists for academic hospitalist positions. Ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and communications skills, strong interest in teaching residents and medical students, and a commitment to quality inpatient care and population health. Potential for leadership responsibilities within the group, including roles in Graduate Medical Education and training.
Competitive salary, benefits, and potential for growth within the Department of Medicine. Spanish proficiency highly desirable.
Requirements
Candidates must be trained in Internal Medicine and possess a current New York State license to practice as a physician. Current DEA is required.
