Summary Statement:
The Poker Attendant is responsible for greeting guests as they enter the poker area, answering Poker, resort related questions, while getting guests started in the process to play poker. The role is generally fast paced. Poker attendants coordinate with Poker supervisors on when and where Poker games are started and are accountable for notification of players that wish to play in Poker games while providing outstanding guest service and creating an atmosphere that contributes to the guest experience.
Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:
- Carry out transactions appropriately and ensure proper documentation for all gaming transactions.
- Greet and welcome guests, establish rapport, and promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and responding effectively to guest inquiries.
- Seat players as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
- Extensive cash handling experience.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Working knowledge of Poker management software.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
- At least two years of previous Gaming/Poker experience in a similar or related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (example Word, Excel).
- A least one-year customer service experience in similar or related field.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Position required licenses.

- Everyone works in Guest Experience–If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile. If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual.
