JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Pool Guest Attendant is to welcome guests to the pool complex. Assist with all customer needs; maintain cleanliness of the pool deck rafts, dirty towels and bathrooms. To protect the glass items and unauthorized items entering the pool complex. Follow and maintain all SNHD rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints, exceed guest expectations, and provide other supporting services.
- Complete opening/closing duties while maintaining the appearance of the pool deck throughout the shift, assist with desk and towel duties, assist with setting up cabanas, maintain the appearance of the pool deck throughout the shift including straightening chairs, collecting soiled towels and trash, moving chairs, and all other duties.
- Provide CPR or first aid if needed and follow emergency protocols.
- Participate in pool safety programs, training, and ensure overall guest safety.
- Treats customers with courtesy and respect always.
- Notifies the manager immediately of any problems at the pool requiring any extra ordinary attention (i.e., guest injury, guest employee conflict, etc.).

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six (6) month experience in a similar role
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard.
- Previous experience working varied shifts.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Valid CPR/ AED Certification
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledgeable of Pool amenities and cabanas.
- Maintains working knowledge of departmental specific safety rules.
- Remains appropriately groomed as stated in the departmental guideline’s appearance code.
