Nemours is looking for highly qualified Athletic Trainers to provide skilled care to athletes as well as connect Nemours Sports Medicine to the community. Full and part-time positions available. Highlights of the positions include:
- Responsible in providing sideline coverage for a variety of youth sports (soccer, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, football). Coverage will be primarily at the Chase Fieldhouse but additionally at sports complexes within the Delaware Valley.
- Assist in development of safety protocols and the coordination / scheduling of coverage needs.
- Collaborative with the Department of Orthopedics and Therapy Services as well as other hospital wide departments in triaging patients to appropriate care levels.
- Advocate youth sports safety and advancing the Nemours Children's Health mission within the community as a member of the Nemours Sports Medicine team.
Requirements:
Must have BOC ATC Certification and be eligible for Delaware State Athletic Training License and appropriate state licensure for primary clinic site; must be eligible for DE licensure

- Must hold a Delaware license
i. Must submit license or proof of application submission within 2 weeks of job acceptance, but this second license is not required to be active at the start of employment
BLS certification Basic Life Support (within 6 months of date of hire) and must be maintained for duration of employment

About the Team
At Nemours, we've developed a large, expansive network of rehabilitation professionals (including physical, occupational and speech therapists, audiologists and rehabilitation engineers) who work to help children and teens move through all phases of recovery - from acute injury and developmental needs to wellness programming.
We use an integrated approach to care, starting with our strong partnerships with Nemours' primary care and physician specialists.
The Therapeutic & Rehabilitative Services department offers:
