Job Summary and Qualifications
Duties for this position include interacting with patients by telephone, gathering family history information, drawing pedigree diagrams both manually and electronically, assessing family histories for appropriateness of referral, gathering medical records/pathology reports prior to patient appointments, educating patients about the genetic counseling process, calculating lifetime risk of cancer using computer risk assessment programs, creating and maintaining databases for the practice and helping with the overall operation of the cancer genetics clinic. |
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelors Degree Required
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
