The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch is the core amenity to one of the most successful master planned communities in Texas, Cordillera Ranch. This 9,100 acre oasis in the Texas Hill Country is anchored by the #5 ranked golf course in Texas (according toDallas Morning News). The course is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design which opened in 2006. The Club also earned the prestigious honor of “Golf Course of the Year” by the National Golf Course Owners Association in 2014.

The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch is a unique facility in every right. The family atmosphere established by the members and ownership create a laid-back culture whilst upholding the standard expectations of a high-end facility. The Cordillera Ranch Golf staff is expected to uphold and grow this culture daily to ensure a satisfying member and staff environment. The next member of this team will be expected to:enhance the member experience, positively contribute to the culture, be a great teammate, and amplify a fun environment for our staff. They will need to be eager to learn all facets of the golf operation and continually grow to better themselves and the facility.

Essential Responsibilities

The Assistant Professional duties are outlined as stated but not limited to the following:

• Display a hands-on attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of the golf operation
• Host unaccompanied guests of the Club
• Positively enhance the “laid-back” culture of the club and elevate member experiences.
• Work alongside a driven and diverse team focused on serving the membership.
• Display a passion for the game and a willingness to grow in the areas of instruction using Swing Catalyst, tournament operations using Golf Genius, and club fitting using Trackman.
• Lead, mentor, and manage all outside staff operations daily.
• Run Club events and weekly women’s golf play days.
• Actively assist in Player Development Programs (ladies, juniors, and beginning men)
• Operate and participate in the Friday men’s game called 'Bear Trap'
• Assist our Merchandiser with displays, buying, and catering to our membership

The diverse golf staff from General Manager down to Assistant Professionals are comprised of seasoned Golf Professionals who are passionate about mentorship and providing an unparalleled experience for our members. This creates a unique sense of camaraderie, teamwork, and functionality. This is crucial to serving the membership while positively enhancing the laid-back culture of the club.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree
• Private club experience
• Accomplished player (preferred)
