Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Assistant Coach - Strength and Conditioning for the Football department.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Assists with the football Strength and Conditioning.
  • Analyzes and collects data utilizing technology in the weight room.
  • Utilizes computer software to organize and store individual player workout videos that the strength staff can utilize to teach further technique improvements both lifting and running.
  • Assists with football program design, nutrition, and program application.
  • Works at the discretion of the Head Strength Coach in regards to setting up and breaking down necessary equipment used to train daily.
  • Helps handle the creation of workout groups, time allocation, and overall organization needed.
  • Assists in creating off season workout plans and newcomer transition.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Strength and Conditioning background with knowledge in workout planning.

Preferred Qualifications
Equipment Utilized
  • XOS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer based software.
  • Familiar with Hammer Strength and Life Fitness equipment and maintenance

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Nights and weekends will be required.
