The Associate VP, Program Delivery- Humana Military develops programs designed to drive value-based relationships. Partners with leaders regarding implementation planning. Reviews and communicates results of programs. Decisions are typically related to intradepartmental coordination, development and implementation of strategic plans, business outcomes, and develops and implements strategic plans for the scope of management that are aligned with the Segment or Business strategy.
Provides executive leadership for TRICARE and other military- and veterans-focused product implementations, contract compliance, and federal contract application submissions in support of Humana Military and requires an in-depth understanding of how organizational capabilities interrelate across the company. AVP, Program Delivery serves as the primary resource for the implementation of new contracts, change orders, continuous improvement projects and transition deliverables for TRICARE Contract. The AVP provides operational compliance definition and clarification, contract transition deliverable coordination, including serving in a leadership role within the Transition Operating Committee. Additionally the AVP, Program Delivery is responsible for workgroup coordination, risk assessment, compliance monitoring and development of cross-functional communications and implementation plans and post implementation support for transition, change order or other continuous improvement initiatives. Will effectively evaluate, monitor, maintain and document operational compliance with contract requirements.
  • Facilitates all aspects of T5 transition and implementation in partnership with HM EC (oversight of 5k+ tasks and milestones). Facilitates all aspects of ongoing Change Order implementation
  • Owns Risk Management for Humana Military
  • Oversees IT Portfolio Management and interplay between IT efforts and business and operations initiatives
  • Owns company level Award Fee management and manages revenue
  • Owns company level Performance Guarantees and manages risk associated with penalties
  • Senior leader who will interface with Defense Health Agency leadership and SMEs Will also be single voice of T5 transition internally with executives at Humana Military and Humana Inc.

Required Qualifications
  • Our Government Contract Requires US Citizenship for this position
  • Per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15 plus years' experience in health plan management
  • Experience leading large scale healthcare client implementations
  • Experience with Government as a client and government contracting reporting requirements.
  • Experience in claims, call and clinical operations and performance management/financial tracking.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$199,400 - $274,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
