Associate Vice President for Admission
Office of Enrollment, Marketing, Communications & Retention
Summary:
Provides direction and oversight for strategic enrollment development and expansion including first-year, transfer, graduate, and international admissions. Oversees strategy, policy development, scheduling, budgeting, contracting, administering, and evaluating admission processes and programs. This position reports directly to the Vice President for Enrollment, Marketing, Communications & Retention.
Responsibilities:
This list is not all inclusive, and is meant to represent the general responsibilities of the Associate Vice President for Admission.
Directs institution's admissions strategic planning initiatives and establishes recruitment and enrollment goals for first-year, transfer, and international populations.
- Develops and implements institution's admissions operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations, institutional policies and unit objectives.
- Develops and audits the institution's admissions budget.
- Determines institution's admissions personnel needs and the unit personnel resource allocation plan.
- Serves as the liaison among internal and external stakeholder groups providing admission information and representing the admissions interests of the institution.
- Advise the Vice President for Enrollment, Marketing, Communication & Retention on admission planning, process, policy and management.
- Plans and directs staff implementation of the institution's admissions initiatives and programs.
- Leads admission staff in planning and the implementation of short and long-term strategies.

- Represents Bradley with internal and external constituencies
- Creates and maintains a positive, well-functioning team environment
- Develops recruitment and territory management plans
- Coordinates professional development planning for the admission team.
- Serves as member of the enrollment leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field; Master’s Degree Preferred
- 8+ years of undergraduate admissions with demonstrated increased responsibility
- 3+ years managing a team
- Ability to effectively communicate, present, and build relationships
- In-depth understanding of admissions processes, industry best practices, and effective admission strategies
- Competent in regional, national, and international trends in higher education
- Demonstrated knowledge of laws, policies, procedures, and best practices governing college admission
- Ability to work within a diverse campus community, prospective students, high school counselors, parents, and external community and/or education leaders and organizations
- Strong technological and analytical skills, as demonstrated by the development of successful strategies to recruit and enroll students
- Demonstrated understanding and expert knowledge of CRM i.e Slate
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to continuous improvement

- Valid Driver’s License
