The Associate Vice President for Digital will lead a team in developing and implementing strategic communications programs on behalf of clients including, but not limited to, strategic planning and message development, content creation, presentations and more.

We seek a mid level communications professional who possesses excellent writing and oral communication skills, client management experience (or similar experience in corporate, political or advocacy roles), and a strong understanding of the digital landscape. This person should thrive in a fast-paced environment, want to work in a team-oriented environment, and be inclined to seek out challenges and opportunities. The position can be based in either our New York or DC office.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide leadership for client projects and smaller client relationships serving as strategy lead, project manager, and point person with minimal to no supervision.
  • Independently develop strategic and tactical plans and content for clients across existing and emerging digital technologies.
  • Manage several projects from concept to execution, maintaining high quality output and progress to strategic goals.
  • Manage an in-house team effectively and efficiently and manage junior and mid level staff.
  • Work collaboratively across teams on behalf of clients.
  • Developing leads for additional work with existing clients and new projects and securing new business.
  • Contribute to new business proposals and presentations.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 8+ years or excellent experience in communications role in an in-house, government or consultancy environment.
  • Experience managing digital programs and sensitive communication issues.
  • Deep understanding of digital, email and social media, with a hunger for continuing to innovate as technologies evolve.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, energetic, detail-oriented and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Manage and guide junior talent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with colleagues across the agency.

The salary range for this role is $105,000 - 135,000.

Due to the pandemic, we required all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. We are currently working in a hybrid model and required staff to work in the office 50% of working days in a month.
