Associate Veterinarian

We are a fairly new, privately owned, walk-in based, small animal general practice in Franklinton, North Carolina. We are located just outside Wake Forest and Raleigh, close enough to enjoy the big city life without the hassle of big city traffic! We are seeking an experienced, full-time veterinarian who can see appointments and perform surgeries independently while keeping their team motivated and efficient.

We offer quality veterinary care at an affordable price. We provide a combination of old school and new school medicine in order to best suit the needs of our clients and patients. We are active in our community and want a candidate that embraces our low-cost business model. We currently assist with spays and neuters for adoptable pets at 3 surrounding animal shelters by offering low cost surgeries. We also work with many local rescues and adoption centers at a discounted rate. If you are looking to help as many pets as possible, look no further! You must be the veterinarian we are looking for!

No after hours or holidays! We pride ourselves in being a family oriented practice and strive to maintain a comfortable work/life balance for our team. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. We see predominantly dogs and cats, but it is not uncommon for us to treat pocket pets, goats, pot-bellied pigs, and feathered friends as well.

We are offering a sign-on bonus! Compensation will be negotiated based on experience level. Base salary between $140k-$160k, plus quarterly pro-sal commission. Pro-sal is percentage based, but our focus is on quality medicine, not quotas. A drama-free hospital culture is one of our top priorities. We employ a team of well trained receptionists, vet assistants, and groomers. We are looking for a candidate that aligns with our fast-paced work model. Each veterinarian is assigned 2-3 assistants per day in order to adequately assist with all necessary duties. A great candidate would be confident in coordinating their "team" and delegating duties throughout the workday to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.

In-house chemistry, CBC, progesterone, and T4 machines, digital radiography, large surgery suite, heated surgery table, multiple dental stations, digital microscope w/removable monitor, handheld ultrasound and many more "toys". We utilize Antech for reference laboratory services and pathologies, plus skilled veterinary assistants who are trained to read in-house fecals and troubleshoot equipment concerns. Treatment area w/heating pads, IV fluid pumps, induction box, Isoflurane anesthesia, anesthesia monitors including pulse-ox, BP, EKG, and CO2.

We offer a full pharmacy including Convenia, Cytopoint, Bravecto, NexGard, Revolution Plus, Interceptor Plus, HeartGard, Proheart 12, Cerenia, Propofol, DexDomitor, as well as a direct-connect online pharmacy for compounded and less popular medications.
