We are currently seeking a talented and driven Planner to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You’ll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in project management of clients and support planning services in other jurisdictions.
- Aid with development review projects, coordinating both internal and external divisions and referral agencies.
- Attend board, commission, and council meetings as needed.
- Work as part of a consulting team on amendments to zoning ordinances, special zoning topics and related projects.
- Complete plan review and inspections for municipal clients.
- Prepare staff reports for Planning Boards and City Commission meetings for municipal clients.
- Correspond to a variety of development related inquiries and assist municipal clients in resolving challenges.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in planning or related field
- AICP Preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years’ experience in the municipal planning field. Consulting experience a plus.
