Position Summary:
This position requires the ability to underwrite _______accounts, provide technical expertise in this area, maintain and improve market growth regionally.
Essential Functions:
- The underwriting, rating, quoting, and binding _____ accounts in accordance with RSGUM/____ guidelines specific to your Underwriting Letter of Authority granted by the team leader and/or Chief Underwriting Officer.
- Assist in developing, enhancing, and maintaining underwriting methods and techniques, achieving underwriting integrity in a cost-effective manner.
- Complete documentation and management of all accounts assigned.
- Ability to handle a relatively high volume of transactions, of small and mid-sized accounts of varying complexity.
- Underwriters are accountable to permissible loss/ratio standards.
- Participate in underwriting meetings/educational seminars/continued education courses.
- Other relevant duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years ______underwriter experience.
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate education and/or work experience.
- AIM agency management system skills highly desirable.
- Resident _____license required and in good standing.
- Demonstrated proficient technical underwriting expertise.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, decision making and negotiation skills.
- Self-directed, goal oriented Individual with problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Customer service skills: listening and understanding client business priorities.
- Strong relationship development skills.
- Ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
- Critical attention to details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Proven track record of being a team player.
- May be required to have and maintain a valid driver's license.

The target salary range for this position is $50,000 - $100,000 annually. The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
