As an Associate Sourcing Analyst, part of Corporate Operations & Services at Gallo, you will develop and evaluate cost models based upon financial data extracted from industry research, current spending data, and commodity supply analyses. You will be responsible for the collection, organization, analysis, summation and presentation of key information essential for management decision making. You will also develop or approve recommendations to change systems, policies, and procedures, as well as ensure timely and accurate implementation. What You Will Do
Data Collection/Organization
- Collects, organizes, and analyzes data from internal/external sources in order to identify major expenditures, key items, savings opportunities, and price variances.
- Establishes and maintains a database for each category commodity, containing key business information such as company and market consumption history, leading suppliers, and industry capacity, forecasts and trends.
Commodity Background Analysis
- Researches commodity industries in order to obtain a thorough understanding of market factors, key influences, supply chain dynamics and major cost drivers, and develop supplier cost and pricing models.
- Conducts financial analyses of potential supply partners, including the evaluation of financial statement information and key ratio analysis.
Commodity Maintenance
- Analyzes post contract data in order to gauge compliance levels and validate savings estimates.
- Acquires and analyzes data in order to address specific issues and execute ad hoc analyses.
- Develops and implements post contract satisfaction surveys and assist Management in addressing customer/field/supplier issues and concerns.
Management Reports/Presentations
- Assists Management in the compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual commodity procurement reports that identify and explain any and all variances between budgeted and actual expenditure.
- Monitors and evaluates supplier performance and compliance to contractual objectives.
- Develops project presentations to Management that clearly communicate commodity risks and opportunities, category objectives, and procurement strategy.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of experience in Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain position reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or science plus 2 years of experience in Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain related position reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Skilled at effectively presenting information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Computer skill requirements include: basic MS Word, Access and PowerPoint; intermediate MS Excel.
- Skilled at working with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Skilled at applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Skilled at solving practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Skilled at applying established procedures to situations that are non-routine in nature requiring some evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $26.63 - $39.90 / Hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
