JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Design styles and research new fabrics that are new, and aesthetically appropriate for the brands.
- Work with the Design Director managing the design process from concept to execution.
- Ability to translate design direction from mood boards.
- Create tech packs as needed.
- Proficiency in sketching illustrations
- Knowledge of denim washes, construction, and techniques
- Adhere to the time and action calendar.
- Follow through the approval process, insuring they are coordinated among different fabrics, trims and product categories are approved working with production.
- Maintain and meet all deadline demands.
SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in the Arts
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Excel and Simparel is a plus
- CAD experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
