Job Summary
As an Associate Records Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively managing the records retrieval operations to ensure the plaintiff's legal claims are proved. You’ll collaborate with other departments to establish and maintain client relationships as it relates to records retrieval, organize and manage the retrieval process using both internal and external resources, and combine creativity with thorough organization to develop innovative progress plans. Analyzing metrics is a critical skill needed to keep cases moving forward.
Confidence, clarity, and critical thinking are necessary for this role. Thriving at Case Works requires effective communication skills. You ‘ll be expected to openly convey uncertainties with your Team Lead, receive constructive feedback, and implement it into your workflow timely.
Working Conditions
- 100% remote, requiring quiet work environment.
- Modern computer with high-speed internet including:
- 25 or more MBps Download and 5 or more MBps upload,
- Ideal Latency of less than 30 ms, but no more than 100ms
- You are responsible for supplying your own office equipment.
- Position requires ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities
- Drive case progress, production, and efficiency of record retrieval operations.
- Collaborate with others to build, organize, and maintain new and existing relationships.
- Combine research, data analysis, and creativity to contribute to new operational goals.
- Create, present, implement and monitor protocols, especially for, but not limited to, record retrieval
processing teams, including quality control metrics to drive operational excellence.
- Understand and adhere to all protocols and workflow processes.
- Audit reports and metrics to determine the next steps for workflow needs, obstacles, or docket progress.
Requirements:Requirements
· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills,
· Strong written and verbal communication capabilities, demonstrating confidence and precision.
· Experience developing, presenting, and overseeing action plans, protocols or procedures, especially
related to building new processes, and/or process improvements.
· Ability to organize, learn and retain information related to intricate and overlapping processes.
· Ability to pivot between high-level and low-level perspectives.
· Ability to quickly adapt to unexpected and consistent change.
· Ability to accept and implement feedback with a positive attitude and growth mindset.
· Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and successfully time manage.
· Self-sufficient and resourceful within reasonable expectations, including utilizing protocols or web
searches to find solutions to minor obstacles.
· Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat..
· Ability to complete basic level troubleshooting for hardware or connectivity issues.
Preferences
· Knowledge or experience in medical fields or legal fields
· Knowledge or experience in project or team management.
· Experience in medical records, record retrieval, or similar field.
· Experience in training.
· Strong leadership skills.
Knowledge
· Proficient computer skills with Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe.
· 2+ years’ experience in Medical, Legal, or Record Retrieval Business
