As an Associate Quality Engineer working on the D&D Beyond team, you will join an adventuring party of engineers supporting the folks building the best-in-class digital play solutions for the world’s greatest roleplaying game! You will assist one of our product engineering teams in ensuring that our products and services meet the established quality standards while contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.
What You'll Do:- Support others Quality Engineers in conducting various quality assurance activities throughout the product lifecycle
- Assist in developing and introducing quality-related procedures and tools
- Assist engineering teams in testing activities through exploratory test sessions and identifying potential risks
- Implement new test cases and maintain the existing automated regression test suites
- Monitor and report the state of quality of our services and processes based on the existing dashboards and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Solid understanding of agile and quality assurance principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of how modern web applications work
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Proficiency in Playwright or other web test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman
- Familiarity with C# and .NET framework, as some of our services are built using these technologies
- Familiarity with AWS and Docker
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, e.g. GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with mobile test automation frameworks, e.g. Appium
- A passion for Dungeons & Dragons (D&D)
- You enjoy throwing Fireballs in the face of danger (but all new party members are welcome!)
