JOB DETAILS
Base Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential
Shift available: 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm 20min paid lunch, 2 - 10min paid break
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work safely and efficiently in a quality assurance production environment. A trainee will be required to learn and perform various quality tasks related to the inspection of windows and doors with direct guidance and assistance from senior quality team to ensure product compliance to established manufacturing standards.
- Train operators to comply with CTQ , OMS, and NDF
- Use Samsung Tablet to perform Quality Audits, including CTQ, CFA, AAMA, Quality Logistics and Shipping, Safety Audits
- Use Samsung Tablet to issue DMRs for defective material
- Assist with Quick Problem Solving QPS
- Basic knowledge and use of measurement devices: Digital calipers, tape measure, Low-E detector
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook email
- Manufacturing plant environment
- Exposed to routine industrial hazards/safety hazards that require PPE (Ear Plugs, Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes)
- Walks/stands for 8 hours, frequently carries 0 - 10 lbs. occasionally carries 10-20 lbs
- Must use hands frequently for grasping and fine manipulation
- Position requires agility and mobility performing such activities as stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- Must be able to work in a hot environment
- The principal responsibilities and duties are intended to describe the functions that are essential to the performance of the job
- In addition, employees holding this position will be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor/management/senior quality staff
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Perform function checks throughout the day to insure we are meeting standard
