KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with Property Tax compliance
- Evaluate information presented on Property Tax returns before, during, and after preparation
- Assist in Property Tax bill payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS)
- Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a year of experience in personal Property Tax compliance preparing Property Tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS
- Bachelor's degree or J.D., LL.M. in taxation, or Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Finance, and/or Real Estate, CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation)
- Experience with various other taxes and their impact on Property Tax
- Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution related to Property Tax
