The Department of Sociomedical Sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health seeks to fill an Associate Program Director position. Under the supervision of the Director of the GATE (Gender, Adolescent Transitions, and Environment) program in the Department of Sociomedical Sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health, the Associate Program Director provides oversight and technical leadership for multiple program activities including the management of projects globally and in the USA, partnership building and fundraising, and research operations. GATE is an innovative research and practice program dedicated towards improving the lives of adolescents and women around the world. The individual hired for this position will bring a technical background and aptitude for managing people and must have demonstrated knowledge and interest in GATE’s technical areas of work, which include research and communication projects related to pubertal health transitions, menstrual health and hygiene, gender, and access to sanitation. The Associate Program Director will collaborate closely with the larger GATE team of staff and students in and outside the USA. The position will involve some international travel.
This position is contingent upon availability of grant funding. Position is in New York City with hybrid work arrangement, including 2-3 days in the office/week. Must reside within commutable distance of New York City.
